Until now, the sisters were self-financing and taking bank loans when needed. Their philosophy is: “We always put everything back (financially) into the business to achieve our goal of becoming the most nutritious and sustainable beverage company in the world,” Florence said.
Florence gives the following five tips to other women who want to start a business:
“Failed fast and often fails. It is important to constantly try new things. Fast-track strategies that do not work and keep those that work. ”
“Ask for help, do not be afraid to reach out and contact your idols, you will be surprised how often they are willing to help you, and at the same time keep in mind that you know your brand and your business better than anyone else. ”
“Bring your philosophies and personal passions into your business. In this way, you will be motivated when things go wrong. ”
“Know your team. Not just what they do at work, but what they want to achieve in life and how you can help them get there. ”
“Celebrate small victories. We focus too much on chess, but it’s hard to start a business, so use the wins to motivate people through this difficult time. ”
She added that their non-negotiable values are sustainability, innovation and nutrition.
“We strive for sustainability in everything we do, from the way we treat our team to the sourcing of ingredients and the way we treat the right things,” said Florence.
Their next product will be a hemp plant protein smoothie made from hulled hemp protein from New Zealand and bottled in recycled glass.
